libgoogle-glog-dev software package provides library that implements application-level logging., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgoogle-glog-dev
libgoogle-glog-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgoogle-glog-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgoogle-glog-dev *
You will get with libgoogle-glog-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
